What is Polyester Jacquard and How is It Made?
Polyester jacquard is a fabric produced primarily from polyester yarn using a jacquard knitting process. The patterns on polyester jacquard are not printed on but formed directly during the knitting process, resulting in clearer, more three-dimensional patterns and greater durability. This fabric has wide applications in clothing and accessories, especially in sportswear in recent years, such as running apparel, basketball uniforms, cycling apparel, and soccer jerseys.
Polyester jacquard is produced on jacquard looms. These looms allow for individual control of each yarn, enabling the creation of complex and stable patterns. Polyester yarn is chosen for its high strength and resistance to deformation. The jacquard structure gives polyester jacquard a more structured feel, and the patterns are less prone to wear and fading. We select different functional yarns based on the client’s intended use. For example, if the client needs sportswear, we choose yarns with moisture-wicking properties; if the client requires a softer feel, we choose polyester microfiber fabric; and for winter clothing, we choose yarns with heat-generating properties.

The Jacquard Circular Knitting Machine is the main model for knitting polyester jacquard and sports jacquard. We can customize fabrics according to customers’ yarn and pattern requirements. II. Warp Knitting Jacquard Machine: This is another model from Natudon.
